Africa Heartwood Project Acquires The Village Drill

The Village Drill is a game changer for AHP’s Village Water Projects in Liberia. With this new technology developed by WHOlives.org, we’ll be able to bring clean water to more remote villages more quickly and safely, and with lower cost. Thanks to our friends at Tifie Humanitarian, PlantTherapy.com, Joseph & Ashley Atkin, and other donors, Africa Heartwood Project purchased our own Village Drill, which is being shipped to Liberia along with other donated goods.

AHP Welcomes our new Volunteer Coordinator for the U.S.

Hi,

I’m Diann Olson, the new Volunteer Coordinator for Africa Heartwood Project. I was introduced to AHP many years ago by my son, Troy. I believe in the work they do and I particularly like their promise that 100% of donations go directly to the designated cause. My contribution is small but I feel like I’m making a difference in the world.

If you feel as I do about AHP, I’d love to work with you. I can match your skills with AHP’s needs. I am very approachable. Prior to accepting this position the most frequent request to me started with “Grandma” and had something to do with cookies.

You […]

Remembering – Rebecca Urieh

Rebecca served as the first Matron of our Refugee Orphan Home at Buduburam. From May 2009 to December 10, 2010 she was an example of love and faith, a helping hand, a mother to her own daughter and 50+ orphan children. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy will live on in the many lives of those she blessed with her wisdom, her smile, her song, her touch.
“During a cricial time at the Home, when we were desperate for a Matron – a good woman with the heart of a teacher and the love of a mother – Rebecca […]
